Barb Oelke

Barb started dancing in 2014 as a member of the Marshfield Hoedowners. She served as State Delegate for SDA-WI from 2015-2017. The Wisconsin State Convention was held in Marshfield in 2018 and Barb served as the Registration Chair.

In addition to dancing, Barb has participated in and served as a board member/publicity chair for various non-profit groups in the Central Wisconsin Area. Barb is currently a member of Wausau Pro Musica, an auditioned women’s choir. She also volunteers with Never Forgotten Honor Flight, Wreaths Across America and Wausau Whitewater.

Barb has worked in broadcast television since 1999, primarily in the sales area. She also has past experience in newspaper advertising.

Barb was born in Racine County but has lived in the Wausau area since 1975. Her two children, their spouses and her two adorable grandchildren (plus 1 on the way in July) also live in the area. She loves to travel, especially to Europe or even a little closer visiting the shores of Lake Superior, where her hobbies of photography and rock hounding are a lot of fun!
